"No Internet" policy after OneCare update? RRS feed

  • My client lost File & Printer Sharing as well as Internet access after the update applied the other day.  I was unable to change location from Public to Home/Work, so I turned off the OneCare Firewall.  That allowed File & Printer Sharing to work again but not access to the Internet (cannot see anything except the other 3 PCs and the server attached to the router . . . cannot ping or access the router).  When I look at the Firewall Policy settings, they are greyed out and it says they cannot be changed because a Group Policy has been applied.  There is no group policy set on the AD domain controller (Windows Server 2003 Small Business).  Anyone seeing something like this?  Do I need to uninstall Live OneCare?


    I am quickly losing any trust I have in OneCare.  My customers do not have an on-site, dedicated IT group and cannot afford the downtime across the whole network.
