Again unbelievable forum bug

General discussion

It looks like if before forum changes the forum team is never testing.
Currently are first replies on original questions (non replies on replies) not handled in the status of a thread.

It is totally unbelievable that this can happen every (?) time an update is made.
What is even worse this time is that you don't get credit for all answers you provide. For example, look at the following thread where the asker has marked my reply as answer:
The answer has not been recorded on neither my profile page nor the asker's:
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/shirley-cheng/activity (note that there is no "Marked an answer.." entry for the above thread).https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Profile/magnus%20(mm8)/activity (there is only a "Contributed a helpful post ..." entry but no "Quickly answered the question..." entry.
The same issue also occured for the following two threads (and possibly for some more as well)
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/645ac09a-f11c-4c6f-b645-ff35aa9e1397/how-to-get-in-what-textbox-are-cursor-vbnet?forum=vbgeneral#34f0848b-7576-4ffb-a202-50063da1d19f

It would be nice if someone responsible could provide an explanation for this unacceptable behaviour and even better fix the issue.
For your knowledge, I reported this on Tuesday but it hasn't been solved yet...
Edit: PhGr_ and Dave Patrick seem to have noticed and reported this as well: https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/45a283c6-70a6-40b5-b62a-af0d09c0b7db/counting-points-and-refresh-problem?forum=reportabug

Ed,
It has only become worse.
I assume you don't suggest to not by Microsoft paid persons to do jobs of Microsoft employees.
(I also assume you know what I then could have written, which I don't want to do, because most Microsoft employees are very fine persons)

Answer an interesting question? Create a wiki article about it!I didn't know there was a Forum Team.
I can only guess they don't actually have a job requirement to actually use the forums to see if there's any issues.
I've been constantly receiving messages concerning something at Microsoft being unable to service a request when a forum or post is selected.
And then theres this thread What happened to the Getting Close New Year post and why? about another thread that was deleted by a Microsoft employee who's handle is Esther Fan. Maybe if Esther Fan was actually performing a service to Microsoft then Esther Fan rather than deleting posts that are off topic would move them to off topic (like Reed Kimble ended up doing with the thread) and even provide MS with input about Forums.
But perhaps Microsoft is so large now their employees are just working for paychecks rather than attempting to support the company. Who knows?
I know if I alter code I either test it or provide it as non-tested to the level necessary where it should be used.
I mean these Forums are constantly in a state of disrepair right after Microsoft does something to them. Is it really that difficult for Microsoft to have some requirement for certain employees to respond to questions in some forum while they are working in some department and report to Microsoft when issues occur?
Personally I think MS should provide each Forum with a Sticky advising they performed some kind of forum update so users can expect at least two months from the time the sticky was created before the Forum gets back to working somewhat correctly. And in the sticky provide an email address to send complaints to. How difficult could that be?
And what is this being cause by all the sudden?
La vida loca
