  • Unfortunately, the installed Volume License version of Windows XP Professional is counterfeit and thus non-genuine.  The only way to remove the non-genuine notification is to purchase and install a genuine version of Windows.  Since Windows XP is no longer supported, you might want to consider installing a genuine version of Windows 7.  Examples
