Can't Remotely Access Win7 Ultimate PC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Recently, I've upgraded my home PC to Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

It shows up in my remote tab computer list as "Connection Disabled."

I went through and configured all the remote settings on this PC and, thanks to Live Mesh remote desktop, I know that the computer is awake and working.

I should probably add that the XP-powered computers are letting me remote to them, so it's not a router configuration issue.

    What am I missing?

Did you reboot the client after changing the settings on it?

  • Hi,

Check if you have enabled (allowed) Remote Desktop?
From "Control Panel->System and Security->System" select "Remote Settings"
