cant install onecare

Question

Hello,
I tried to install one care, but keep getting an error message (0023-80070643) indicating that there's an antivirus program running. I removed the program, ran an online windows live onecare cleanup scan & tried to install onecare again, but no luck. I installed onecare on 1 computer, but am not able to install it on another that is connected to the 1st.Thursday, October 8, 2009 8:40 PM

You might want to try this free for personal use utility to initially find that conflicting installation, then to assist with its removal if necessary:

That is interesting, Dave_M.
You are on the right track to try to overcome that error. If you are still unable to resolve it, I recommend contacting support.
