What is the best way to get Windows 7 profesional to support Enhanced Write Filter?

Question

I'm trying to find out how to get windows 7 profession to support enhanced write filter. I need this to prevent corruption from occuring if power is lost and help lock down the computer. All the forms I have read so far only mention embedded. Is there a way to get EFW to work for windows 7 professional or is there some way to do something similar with group policy options and some third party software?

Hi,
first I want to suggest to start such a discussion inside a Technet Forum that covers such topics. (This forum covers only Windows Forums which is a technology that is part of the .Net Framework!).
Did you try to use the embedded drivers that are available on Windows 7? The thread I found at http://www.mp3car.com/winnt-based/140081-ewf-on-windows-7-32-bit-or-64-bit-enhanced-write-filter.html seems to handle that. But I am quite sure, that Microsoft will not support something like that.
With kind regards,
Konrad

Hi _clair_,
As Konrad’s suggestion, this form discusses Windows Forums technology only. if you have any question about the Windows 7Operate system, you can get support in the windows 7 answers forum or the Windows 7 IT Pro Forums.
