CRM 2011 Outlook Client: "New Record" and other buttons not working on ribbon RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I have a user who has the CRM 2011 Outlook Client. All of the buttons on his ribbon bar show up, but certain one's are not working. Specifically, the "New" and "Edit" buttons are not working. (Side note: He has the same security roles and is in the same business unit as another user who has the Outlook client. All buttons and functionality work for this other user.)

    He is on Outlook 2010, 32bit and the correct Outlook client is installed. Rollup 11 is installed as this is the latest Rollup we are on in our organization.

    When clicking on these buttons, the "hourglass" icon spins for a bit, disappears, and then nothing happens. I click on the buttons again and the same thing happens. Nothing.

    Does anyone have any ideas on why this could be happening and if there are any resolutions? Thank you again all for your help! Great community we have here.
