How do you "activate" a purchased version of WLOC? RRS feed

    Over and over, I'm requested to subscribe, enter id,give product key.

    After those hoops, i get:

    The product key entered is already in use.

    If you are installing OneCare on a 2nd or 3rd computer or you are reinstalling OneCare, you do not need to use your product key again. Instead, close this browser window, return to OneCare, and click Activate again. On the Sign in page, sign in with the Windows Live ID that you originally used to install OneCare.

    If you get this message more than once, report it as a recurring problem
    and then it's the same process over and over again. If my product key is "already entered", why doesn't
    WLOC "subscribe" me?

    If you have not activated successfully, then it would appear that you have a duplicated product key and will need to exchange your retail copy with the retailer. If you activated a subscription, but a problem has occurred and you are trying to activate a reinstall or you are trying to get OneCare to reflect your subscription status, you cannot enter the product key again, but must use the same LiveID you used to activate the subscription.     If it fails to validate your subscription, select the option that you are using a trial or beta copy and you can proceed to email support without validation once you've signed in.
