MCPD 70-549 Study Materials

Question
-
I have the three MCTS certs and I'm studying for the 70-549 test, but I'm having a hard time finding all the study material needed. I have the book, but I was wondering if there is any other study material out there that is not practice questions. For the other certs there were online workshops that Microsoft had, but I don't see anything like that. Any links would be appreciated. Thanks

Sorry for the late answer. I just missed your reply.
Maybe you want to check out the practice tests of MeasureUp / SelfTestSoftware. They are not that expensive and they offer a training mode that I really love. So whenever I prepare for an exam, I have 3 steps:
1) Self-Paced Training kit and normaly playing around with the technology (This MCPD exam is little different but that is still valid!)
2) When I am done, I test my knowledge. So I go through the training questions and for each question I tell myself: Which question is correct and (important!) why the other answeres are wrong! When I am correct, then I go to the next question. If I was noch 100% correct, then I follow the given links and read all I can find about the topic so I understood it fully. If I missed something completly, then I start playing around with that topic (e.g. 70-536 MeasureUp had questiond about Remoting. That wasn't in the Book and I never used it. I played around with it just because of that question ...)
3) Most important for me: 1 day before the exam comes the moste important thing: relax!
I will not learn something, that I didn't learn in the weeks before in one day. So I relax till the exam. I know I am prepared in a good way so what could happen? If I fail, then live goes on, too. (Ok, I am not sent by my company. So nobody is "watching" me.)So when you look for more resources that are not to expensive: Check out these 2 companies (And both are microsoft gold certified partner for these things so I think we can trust in them and so far I didn't have any bad experience.)
With kind regards,
Konrad

That's VERY expensive, I would like something around a couple of hundred dollars if possible at most.

Hi,
There is a Self-Paced Training Kit book for 70-549 available. I got a used copy at Amazon for cheap money (And got the money more or less back through the 15% voucher inside the book. But Expire Date was end of this year or so ...)
MCPD Exam 70-549 - Designing and Developing Enterprise Applications Using the .NET Framework - Self Paced Training Kit
is the full text on the book where - are some kind of breaks. But at least inside the PDF is no ISBN number - but I will check the printed book at home, too.
With kind regards,
Konrad

I already have the book. I was hoping to find other material like what is offered with the other MCTS certs. Workshops or study material would be ideal. It is hard to comb through the Microsoft site for all that is required for this test.
