OCS Proxy and MCM installation RRS feed

  • As a part of the OCS installtion and integration with Nortel CS1000 , I have already installed OCS FE and Mediation servers.

    I ran into a problem while installing the OCS Proxy server. I ran the following command :

    C:\Office Communications Server_Eval\setup\amd64>lcscmd /server /Action:activate
     /role:proxy /password:test

    and the HTML file shows the following error :

    I am trying to locate documentation regarding this error but can not find any yet. Any help on this will be great.

  • Are you using the RTM or R2 version of OCS? the R2 version is not yet supported in this scenario as far as I know.
    Did you install the proxy before the activation? To install the proxy: MsiExec.exe /i Server.msi SERVER={SE|EE|AP|PROXY} SKU={SE|EE} [Optional Msiexec.exe Parameters] http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb905885.aspx
