    Hello I spoke to microsoft back in May about a problem with my windows anytime upgrade, thougfht it was resoslved, but it isn't now I cant validate my windows...

    Hi,

    Please post the results of this diagnostics tool:  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012  That’ll help me understand why you’re unable to validate.  Also, can you tell me what error code you get when you try to validate?  It’ll be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the validation failure web page.

    about a week after I installed Symantec Endpoint Security Beta 11 I got that window can't be validate.

    Now I can't even remove SAV because it's in reduce mode Sad

    I have not installed any of the programs mentioned in the post you refere to, and I will absolutly not pay NOK 4 998,00 + tax for MS to fix their own problem with authentication!

     

    After a reboot, Vista works OK for about a week, and then i tells me its unable to validate.

     

    I´m now just waiting to read a story from a company with thousands of computers that stops working due to bug in Vista authentication :-)

    Can you tell me what error code you get (if any) when you validate by clicking "Validate Windows" here: www.microsoft.com/genuine

    The error code will be gray and in brackets at the end of the message on the page that says validation failed.  (It'll look something like this:  [0xC004C000]).
