Could you come back to the old insert block ? ( or explain how the new one is working )

  The new Insert Block is useless
  example :

  maybe i have not understood how it is working but the result is ugly and tedious to reach
  
  I hate to criticise , i prefer to send congratulations but i can't work with a tool like this one.
  For the moment, i will insert code by paste/copy and indent each part of code
  
  I have clicked on the small icon after HTML.
  
  I am sure that i am using badly the Insert Block but i have found nothing to help me
