Is it legal to re-arm vista continuously? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it legal for an organization/company to keep re-activating Windows Vista? This organization always just re-arms vista instead of buying a key. They even let it go into rfm, then say goto internet explorer to buy, and then type C:\Windows... into address bar, launch cmd as administrator and command slmgr -rearm. after 3 times, it gives error and they re-install and repeat as necessary. So can they legally do this? I thought of it as immoral and against the law...

  • What kind of company would want to reinstall Windows Vista every 120 days?  Sounds a bit foolish.

Its not a company. more like a non-profit organization. have paid employees but dont make a profit. but its not quite that either... And this is done on more than a hundred computers+ its not for testing. most computers have already had one re-install and they very well know everything works just fine. So anyway, whats the legal word on this?
