    The MCC Award is active ?

    How to became a Microsoft Comunnity Contributor ? 

    Is there any rule or restriction like time of subscription ?

  • For now it appears that only MVP's have the MCC designation. See this thread:

    When the program was active, you got awarded for helpful activity in the TechNet and MSDN forums: things like helpful posts and answers in a period of time. I think it was awarded quarterly. The criteria were never published. I believe the program is still active in the Answers/Community forums, which are consumer oriented and on a different platform.

    Thanks by the answer ! I has imagined that. I know a guy that received the award recently and he works on both plattforms. Community and MSDN


    I saw that you edited the Ed Price´s article about the program. Did you have any new or official information ?

    I think that is really terrible. There are a lot of people, like me, that spend your time helping other users expecting to receive a little recognition.

  • No, I don't have any information. I just made an observation few months back that MCC program seems to be dead for MSDN forums.
