I appologize in advance if this has already been answered but, if it was, I could not find it after an hour of searching various forums.
Background:
I purchased a desktop a few years back with an OEM licensed copy of Office Standard. Last year, through work, I purchased a copy of Office Professional through the Home Use Program and installed it on the desk top.
I recently purchased a new laptop and wish to:
1. Install and register the Home Use Program software on the laptop
2. Reinstall or re-register the OEM software on the Desktop
Question:
1. The EULA specifically states that the license may be transfered to another PC but that it then must be uninstalled from the first. Am I correct to assume that the Home Use License is only good for one PC and that the software may not be registered on two different PC's?
I have the OEM disks that originally came with the desktop. I suppose I install the Home Use Program version on the new laptop, uninstall from the desk top, and then reinstall the OEM version on the desk top. How then, do I re-register this circus?
