Cannot login to restored organization RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    Recently I have restore an organization from live to development environment. Understand that I cannot login with user accounts that restored from live. What I can do is create a dummy AD account and change the users in CRM to dummy AD account then recreate user in CRM.

    What's the root cause for this issue?

  • The root cause is probably that the AD user account is not a member of the AD group UserGroup {Guid} for your development environment. The user will be added either by manually creating a new user in CRM, or by using the Import Organization Wizard to import the organization database. The Import Organization Wizard is the recommended approach, though it was very slow with many users prior to Update Rollup 8
