    I just bought the Alienware but it's second hand and the Windows tag under my laptop was lost. How can I know my activation code? I did re install my Windows with the iso file that I downloaded it online.

    look in the battery compartment for the COA.

    if you cant find it you will have to reinstall using OEM recovery media or purchase a new license.

    see your documentation or your manufacturers website for instructions on how to use the recovery partition. you can also order recovery disks.
