Is it essential to be an experienced developer to be able to appear for the MCSD test? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

I wish to appear for the MCSD App Builder certification. I am NOT a developer but wish to get this certification to apply for a developer job. But the Microsoft certifications homepage (Here) says:

Candidates for this exam are developers with at least one year of experience programming essential business logic for a variety of application types, hardware, and software platforms using C#...

So, my question is - Am I eligible to even apply for this test? Just to check the requirements, I clicked the schedule test option and the next page asks me to enter my job title, without which it cannot proceed further.

Can I appear for this test? Do they refuse to allow me for the test if I am NOT working as a developer?
