Changing The name of user folder in Documents and Settings Folder RRS feed

    I am running Windows XP Professional on an IBM desktop computer.  I want to donate the computer but want to change the name that appears in the user folder under Documents and Settings to protect my ID.  I have followed the directions on Microsoft's web site for changing the registered name but that didn't change the folder name.  Is there a way to do this?  For some reason, I can't get to a startup menu that allows me to do a clean install (i.e. put the computer back to the condition when i bought it).
