Today, you can still become certified in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (if you're not already). The two (2) current certifications for Windows Server 2008 is MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and
MCSA: Windows Server 2008.
**NOTE: You cannot earn the MCSE
title for Windows Server 2008.
The MCITP title requires you to pass five (5) exams before July 31, 3014. There's not much time left! You can learn more about the MCITP title here:

Alternately, the MCSA title requires you to pass three (3) exams without the deadline. Learn more here:

Many professionals today are instead becoming certified in Windows Server 2012. You can first earn your MCSA with three (3) exams and then earn the related MCSE title for Windows Server 2012 with just two (2) more exams.
