Bogus Bonus Pack Failure - gimme my goodies RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I attempted to validate my new MS Office 2007 Pro on my new PC, built by a local PC builder on the list of eligible vendors. But MS denied that this purchase is eligible. Please correct this. It IS eligible, and you owe me for the goodies advertised as part of this offer.

  • Hi Michael,

We are going to need to talk with you about your specific issue, but it would be cumbersome to do so over the Forum. Please go to https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?c1=509&gprid=9860 and create a Support Incident. Afterward, post the Incident Number here in this thread. We will then contact you directly.

    Thank you,
    Beth

  • I'm sorry that it is "cumbersome" to do support in this forum. Really, I am. However, this venue is the only one offered by Microsoft, so I guess we'll have to deal with it.

Had the LocalPCBuilder program provided a phone number to use when your software fails miserably, perhaps it would be easier all around.

In any event, the call ticket for this issue is 1055038292.

Note that I am unable to sign onto my original sign in name; I don't know what I used. And I'm not sure I'll be able to sign on with this ID again either. This system of "support" is poor for that reason.

    MD
