    Does Fixit load other services in Startup? Can I stop some of those services from starting up? I figure I'll only use Fixit when I need it - no need to have them at startup. Thanks!

    Dear Customer,

    Thanks for your interest in Microsoft Fix it Center (beta)!

    MatSvc.exe does not run all the time. Rather, it runs on demand and quits when unused. Therefore it is both unnecessary and not recommended to disable the associated NT service. Or proper functionality of the Microsoft Fix it Center (beta) application would be impeded otherwise.
