How to use CRM 4.0 to develop custom website

How to use MS CRM 4.0 capabilities to develop custom ASP.NET application. Is there any place i can get samples? I am newbie for MS dynamics.

Have a look at the CRM Accelerators. There are reference samples for a Customer Portal and Partner Portal, among others. They are based on the XRM libraries in the CRM 4.0 SDK.
