  • I wonder if I could get some advise, your thoughts?

I have worked in IT for a while starting out on helpdesk (early 2000), then working my way up to a senior role before, switching to SFB helpdesk role.  I’m thinking of moving into infrastructure/Server support, but not sure of the best place to start, other than the MS 2012 exams? I have researched and found 98-365, are there any other courses that I should consider would be good to start with.

Also how would I go about getting my foot in the door, with little or no experience?

Any other advise, guidance would be great..

  • Hi,

Having MCSA on Server 2012 or Server 2016 will be the minum required in terms of certifications for most employers. MCSE would be even better.

Hands on experience unfortunately needs work experience.
