Extract GPO settings from end computers RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I'm planning to extract the currently configured GPO settings for persistent session. Is there any powershell script to pull the settings from multiple end computers.

Below are the GPO settings needs to be extracted,

    Interactive logon: Machine inactivity limit.

Microsoft network server: Amount of idle time required before suspending session.

    Thanks in advance!!!

  • "persistent session"?  What is that?

To get GPO settings just look in GPMC or run "GPResult" on the member system.

You should be posting GP questions in the Group Policy forum.

  • GPResult can do this as it can be executed remotely and outputs to a file.

We cannot write a script for you.

  • Is GPResult can be executed from centralized server to remote computers and able to collect the details in that server? If so any example powershell commands?

  • You can also use this from a server with GPMC/PS support installed:
