  • Can we upgrade a WHS v1 box to 2011?

    No. WHS V1 is an x86 based OS while WHS 2011 is an x64 OS and you cannot
    directly upgrade from x86 to x64. Not to mention the fact that the storage
    technology between the two is completely different.

  • I figure the x86 to x64 is a bigger problem since I'm sure Microsoft could make a tool to convert between the two storage methods.

    Guess I'll have to do it manually...fooy.
