  • The product key currently being used in this Windows is from an MSDN Subscription that that has been blocked.  The terms of an MSDN Subscription bar the resale of Product keys from the subscription.  The reason the key is blocked is likely that Microsoft has descovered the person was reselling his/her MSDN Keys (probably the same key to many different people) and blocked it.

If possible, return the software/key to the person or company that sold it to you. Do not accept a "new" key, get your money back and buy from a retailer you trust.

    Thank you,

Just as an FYI - Activation is nothing whatever to do with ActiveX!!

    To your report:_
Have you tried to activate it yet?

    It's a N version windows - and probably a fake.

You'll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for Darin to give you the final
    word on it.
