How do I download a file from live desktop? RRS feed

    At the risk of looking stupid, can anyone tell me how I download a file (well actually a subfolder of a shared folder) to another PC without doing a sync?

    Hi

    If you click on the folder to open it and then right click the file in question, one of the options is 'Save As', which allows you to save the file to the local computer. There doesn't appear to be an obvious way to download a folder though (except through normal synch).

    Thanks Glyn. I was hoping to download the folder as there's too many files to do it individually. Seems a bit of an omission, but maybe that'll get fixed as the software develops.

    Glyn is right that this is a Wish List request item - one of the more popular as a matter of fact.  Please feel free to add your vote for this feature (being able to select multiple files/folders at once for upload/download) to the list!
