For some reason, my backups recently started failing on my Win7 Home Premium 64-bit notebook. This is to a home built WHS (v.1). Until last week I never had any issues. The backup gets to about 10% (indicating that is checking for clusters that need backing
up). Then I get a message that the backup has failed due to a problem with the WHS connector software and that there is more info in the system event log. That info is:
203
C:
WHS
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80070001): Incorrect function. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070001) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo) at Microsoft.HomeServer.Common.Client.Win32.ThrowLastError()

at Microsoft.HomeServer.Backup.BackupOp.BackupOperation.Run()
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the connector, I have done a chkdsk on the notebook, and it found no errors. I have tried the steps suggested in
this FAQ about fixing the Volume Shadow Copy system.
I have also tried the backup with both wired and wireless network.
Nothing seems to work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
