IE 8 issues

Question
-
After upgrade to IE8 from IE7 (automatic updates did this to me)it would not function properly such as not able to access websites for college courses, or be able to download.
Tech support told me to install IE 6 which of course terminated when it found IE8 already on computer.
I tried to remove IE8 and then re-install but got errors
1. can't find hnnppi.dll.mui to copy
2. can't find eula.txt to copy
then un-install hangs up and won't shut down.
unfortunately for me the website I really need to access from home for college isn't compatible with other browsers.
I'm not to well versed in technical issues but desperately need either IE7 or 8 to work flawlessly.Wednesday, February 3, 2010 8:38 PM
