  • well what do u think guys is the best antivirus

     

    A.  Norton (specify the version)

    B. Mcafee (       do       )

    C. Avast

    D. CA

    E. AVG

     

    if i missed anyother imp antivirus sorry for that but u are open to specify ur choice other than the options i have speciifed.....do participate and let us see which is the most favoured.

     

    I prefer Avast as it is lite..dosent take too much of ram and also protects us agianst viruses and spywares

  • McAfee is the best among subcribed versions.. Avast is the best among free editions..

     

    @ Adithya - BTW, when you have a thread regarding the same 'Best Anti-virus' , why do you want to create a new thread?

  • McAfee is the best for the paid once and AVG or BitDefender 8 for the free once

     

    my reasons for choosing mcafee is that it is not a resources hunk and still remains one of the most powerful antivirus of modern times

  • i agree with harshil.. i have been using nod32 for quite a time now and i haven't been infected at all, while all my friends who surf and browse less and are using stuff like norton and mcafee have caught viruses..

  • Also one more thing i like of NOD32 is the incremental Update of the virus definitions Smile While in Norton you have to download the whole definition file and its keeping on growing Smile
