Email router - incoming messages RRS feed

    I have configure incoming property of a user to use router configuration.

    When user recieves a mail the activity is created succesfully in CRM application however windows messageLog shows this error in server - for both types Mail contains an attachment or not.

    #17174 - An error occurred while validating the e-mail message with subject "DENNIS ALEX TEST 01" in mailbox crm_service@quadrem.com. Microsoft.Crm.Tools.Email.Providers.EmailException: An error occurred while trying to extract the attachment from the incoming e-mail message. The attachment must be a "forward-as-attachment" e-mail message.

    Do you have any idea how to avoid those messages - and why is that happening?

  • You've configured all your users with incoming profile of "Email Router".

    The message you are receiving is talking about Forward Mailbox, a mathos you did not apply on your CRM.

    You need to disable the forward rule to crm_services mailbox + remove this configuration from the email router.
