  • Hello Derek185,

Your computer currently has an installation of XP Professional that was installed with a form of piracy known as "hard disk loading."  The fact that the computer has a Volume Licensing installation of XP and that the computer has no Certificate of Authentcity affixed to it is typical of hard disk loading.

Add to these circumstances the fact that the computer also has a nongenuine installation of Office XP Pro with Front Page, another product available only with Volume Licensing, and that the installation was done with a blocked Volume Licensing Key, is pretty much the piracy "smoking gun."

It's very common for nongenuine installations of Windows to have more than their fair share of technical problems, especially malware-related problems.

At your earliest convenience, please uninstall both Office and Windows from the computer as they are both pirated installations.  Please follow the prompts you are being shown to purchase both a Windows and Office Genuine Advantage Kits to acquire genuine Microsoft software for your computer.  Another alternative would be to backup your data then install one of the several free operating systems and free office productivity packages that are available.
