Error Code 2147200969 with workflow processes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey all,

I have encountered an issue that has never happened to me before. I created a bunch of workflows and assigned them to a user. I was notifying that not all workflows were working properly. I tried to reassign them back to me and I get a generic error- An Error occurred. Try this action again. If the problem continues, blah, blah, blah.... I cannot open, assign, or deactivate the processes. I have gone ahead and deleted the associated system jobs just in case one of them may be causing the hang-up. I have 32 lengthy workflows that I do not wish to recreate. Does anyone have a solution to freeing up these processes so that I can continue to use them?

  • I will look into enabling tracing tomorrow. In the meantime, does this log help?

  • Rather then messing with IIS I opted to restart the app server as it would achieve the same result. It solved the problem. Thank you.
