How do i get the CRK CD? Can i download in thru Microsoft portal? Thanks!

Hi,
You can download the CRK from the MSDNAACR (Academic Alliance Repository) page. It's usually on top of the list as a popular download.
Even better, here's a direct link:
http://www.msdnaacr.net/curriculum/pfv.aspx?ID=6191
You will stil need to get Windows Internals 4th Edition on your own though (it's not part of the free download).

Yes, it is possible. Faculty can register on the Faculty Connection site individually if their university is not part of MSDNAA. From the forum FAQ:
"If your department is not an MSNDAA subscriber than you may alternatively download the CRK Instructor Supplement through the Faculty Connection program. If you are registered with this site, click on “Get Verified Now” to log in and download the instructor supplement. However, if you are not a registered member of Faculty Connection, instructions on how to register are located here: http://www.microsoft.com/education/facultyconnection/verification/ManualVerification.aspx"

At the top you will Find
Associated File to Download:
(click on filename) CRK.zip (39.00 MB)
Click on the CRK.zip you will get a pop up of EULA
and click on the accept button
