Question
-
I installed a genuine copy of Windows 7 on a computer. After almost a year of use I am getting a constant message that it is not genuine. Below is the diagnostic report that I ran earlier today. Any advice as to how to correct this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Larry

WAT Admin Service: RegisteredYour best bet for a first reaction is to try a System Restore back to a time when the system showed as genuine. If that fails for any reason,Please run a full CHKDSK and SFC scan....type in the Search boxCMD.EXEright-click on the only file that is foundSelect Run as Administrator- the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop upAt the Command prompt, typeCHKDSK C: /Rand hit the Enter key.You will be told that the drive is locked, and the CHKDSK will run at he next boot - hit the Y key, and then reboot. The chkdsk will take a few hours depending on the sizeof the drive, so be patient! After the CHKDSK has run, Windows should boot normally(possibly after a second auto-reboot) - then run the SFCSFC -System File Checker - InstructionsClick on the Start buttontype in the Search boxCMD.EXEright-click on the only file that is foundSelect Run as Administrator- the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop upAt the Command prompt, typeSFC /SCANNOWand hit the Enter keyWait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot.Post an MGADiag report with details of any error messages encountered.
