Hi, I'm trying to push this update via SCCM 2007 software update to W7 machines in my environment that are requesting it (almost 400 machines). Although the update is downloaded to the cache on these machines, the install never gets going,
and I can't see any issues in the log files.
These machines have no other issues with Software Updates and installed all the recent Patch Tuesday updates successfully (windows, IE, .net, office, etc).
The Update Rollup is available to deploy in Windows Update, and installs successfully. Wondering if anyone has seen this before?
Its also possible to manually download the update and install it. Or create a package and deploy it via "software distribution" by using silent install switches - however, I'd like the use the cleaner more efficient (better reporting etc)
method of "software updates" in SCCM.
