I'm using Advanced Find in CRM 4.0 and exporting the results to excel. Over here I use the exported data to create a pivot table and after creating the table I'm changing the Excel file format to .xlsx
On my system, when I refresh from CRM, the excel dataset gets updated and the pivot table updates accordingly. However, when I send the excel workbook to a colleague with the same security role (sys admin), my colleague reports that the dataset
gets updated on refreshing but the pivot table does not update and an error is generated.
The error is "Cannot open PivotTable source file" followed by a path corresponding to my account.
What might be causing the problem? Shouldn't the pivot table link directly with the workbook and change when the dataset details get modified?
