Question

Some threads cannot be found in NewsReader via NNTP Bridge after moving to another forum.
For example:
These two threads are issues about Windows 7. Originally they were posted in the General Issues forum:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/zh-CN/home?forum=1761
I moved them to Windows 7 forum:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/zh-CN/home?forum=window7betacn
They cannnot be found in my NewsReader via NNTP Bridge.
Anyone who knows why? Thanks.

There could be some synchronization delay but I don't really know. If they don't show up I'd send an email to fissues [at] microsoft [dot] com.

Thanks Dave. I knew about the synchronization delay, but usually the delay only takes a few minutes. There were also some other threads I could see from NNTP Bridge which were moved from the same forum to another forum.
I suspect that the issue was caused by the thread moving destination, because the destination forum belongs to both Microsoft Forms and TechNet Forums:
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/zh-CN/home?forum=window7betacn
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/zh-CN/home?forum=window7betacnActurally they are the same.
Maybe next time I should choose a different destination link.

I wouldn't think the branding should matter. It should be the same destination end point regardless. May need to ask someone at fissues that is familiar with the inner workings of the bridge.
