Is MCP required to appear for appearing for AX Dynamics exam which gives a credential of MCTS?

Hi, I have the following queries.

Ques1: I want to know that whether someone who is not an MCP can give a paper for DYNAMICS AX 4.0 which gives a credential of MCTS ?

Ques2: I have recently cleared two papers from DYNAMICS AX 4.0 after which i got a credential of MCTS. Now i want to know that when will i get a credential of being

"Microsoft Certfied Business Solution Specialist". ?

Hi Dhruv,

I am not an expert with Dynamics AX but maybe the information I can give you already helps you:

http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/dynamics-ax-specialist.aspx#tab2 shows the available certifications that results in a MCTS title. For each of the 14 TS certification, only one exam is required. There is no requirement to do any other exam first (So you must not be a MCP to get the MCTS certificate!).

Regarding the the Microsoft Certified Business Solution Specialist: I didn't find anything about that on the certification pages. What I found was MCITP certifications. On http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=MB6-508&locale=en-us#tab1 I find a link regarding that title, but it simply links back to the MCTS / MCITP page and does not say anything about that title.

So my recommendation regarding that certification is, to directly ask the your regional service center please. (http://www.microsoft.com/learning/support/default.mspx)
