(MODS – please move to the Win 7 forum)

    A couple of points.
    1) there is no such product as ‘Microsoft 2007’ – what I suspect  you mean is ‘MS Office 2007’

    2) You posted to the Windows XP forum

    3) Your installed version of Office 2007 is a Trial one – limited to the first 25 uses of each program, or 60 days (depending of the exact type of installation)

    4) The Key on the sticker on your machine is for Windows (not Office) – read the label properly

    5) To activate the trial of Office and make it a ‘real’ copy you would need to  have purchase the Office license separately.

    6) Office 2007 has not been sold by MS since September last year – any remaining stock is dwindling fast, and is more likely in fact to be a counterfeit, unless you purchase from very reputable stores.

    7) Your machine was built around Dec 2009 – but appears never to have been validated. which makes me think that you’ve just used the Recovery procedures to get back to the original install.
If you did purchase the Office system, you should still have the original pack which came with it, which includes the Key – you will need to use that
