I have lost sound RRS feed

    I downloaded the recent update to Vista and after that I had no sound. All cables are intact and the Realtek sound card says it is working normally and volume is up at high. When I tried the Microsoft Fix It program for sound it will not run and gives an error code  0x80040154.

    Any one have any suggestions?

          Thank you for your interest in Fix it Center(Beta). To futher find the root cause, I need some your information. Could you please tell me some information as following?
       1. Which version of your OS(32/64)?
       2. Which Troubleshooter or XXXX_MATS_Run.exe you run? Could you please posted your download Fix it Program URL?
       3. Did you got any details error message?
       4. If you reboot your machine this issue still remain?
