TaskDialog's and the API Code Pack RRS feed

  • Question

  • So, I use the Microsoft API Code Pack to create, Aero Forms, Task Dialogs etc... but when I use TaskDialog, I never can get the following to work:

Standard Buttons - Cant get a result from the dialog.
Command Links - How to use them?
Coding - Is there a tutorial?

VB seems to be outdated or something, because only C# seems to work for this, (and C# to me is like someone speaking rubbish over and over again. (I only slightly get C++)). If this is true, why did Microsoft make this VB Sample in the API Code Pack? The above is what I need answers too. I just dont get it.

And another thing to that: Aero Forms, any tutorials? One thing about the API Code Pack - NO TUTORIALS! Just help on functions, (which doesnt help at all, seeing as it classes C# more with no info on how to use the functions).

Please, please, please! Help me! Thanks, John.

Because API code pack was documented in C#, Try to post your issue with API code pack in its discussion forum for better responses. http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/WindowsAPICodePack/Thread/List.aspx

All replies

  • In using the framework or save API's there is no difference between VB and C#

And that is all the reply I can give you based on your information.

Do you have at least a link to what you are writing about or is it a magazine?

    Success
