Windows 7 7600 not genuine message

Question
-
I finally got around to installing Windows 7 from an upgrade disk I bought a year ago on the student discount promotion they had at the release of Win7. The installation went fine and I activated and performed the genuine Windows validation so I could install Microsoft Security Essentials as my virus scanner. A few days later, I noticed the "Windows is not genuine" message in the bottom-right corner of my screen. A Google search led me here.
Here is my diagnostics from MGADiag.exe. This was after visiting the genuine advantage validation site again so the error message would go away. I can wait for it to come back if I need to post diagnostics data from when the message is visible, if that makes any difference.

Hello Syntax42,
I have check the Key being used in your Windows and it is Valid and Genuine and I can find no problem with your current Diagnostic Report.
So, at this point, I think we should wait until you get the error again and then have you run another report while the error is being displayed. Hopefully that will provide us with more information to work with.
I will keep this thread marked as unanswered for around 4 days. If you get the error again, during that period, run the report and post it here. Otherwise, just create a new thread and post the new report there.
