    There are many ways of connecting ur program to a database and maintaing the records in it. Its much simpler nowadays using .Net

    U can use ODBC, ADO, OLEDB etc.. There are many concepts involved in this. There are vaious types of databases and connections differ according to them !

    Its good and sample codes are given. Chk it out and learn as much as possible
