Win 7 blocked key RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey there everybody. i recently bought a genuine Win 7 Ultimate SP1 OEM dvd complete with legitimate product key. First installation was OK, after full update I was presented with option to upgrade to Win 10 pro, I accepted and installed Win 10 but later decided to roll back to Win 7 but couldn't, so I formatted my hdd to start from scratch. In the installation process i messed up and could not enter my product key. Later i did it with a command line <slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-*****> and computer accepted it, but now microsoft won't activate it and says it is blocked. If needed by Microsoft I could upload photos of DVD plus key as proof of purchase. Help me please. Thanks

  • To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool

(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

     Once saved, run the tool.

Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.

To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.x

      - in your own thread, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

  • The Key in use is an MSDN Key from a not-for-resale MSDN account.

Unless you are an MSDN subscriber, you are not entitled to use the Key – and whoever sold it to you was not entitled to do so.

You need to claim an immediate refund from the vendor - do NOT accept the offer of a new key (all they are trying to do is to get past the 45-day claims window or avoid you sending the evidence of their crimes to the authorities)

The pirates have got VERY good at this over the past few years, as the price of equipment for manufacturing the packages drops, and as factories open in less well-policed countries.
