Settings for Outlook 365 IMAP, POP and SMTP server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
I am trying to configure servers like IMAP, SMTP and POP to be able to connect to Outlook 365's Server. I have referenced the information of many different websites like ComponentPro's Blog and Google's Mail. The special thing here is all Both articles note the same default ports (Example: ComponentPro's Blog specifies the default port for IMAP is 993, Google's Mail also stipulates that, while ComponentPro's Blog is the guide to connect to Outlook 365, but not the Google's Mail). So what are the conventions about these ports? Can I reconfigure so that the ports of different servers are an indicator to easily remember?
Very sorry if I post the wrong thread. Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • Hi Mc Blair,

    Thank you for posting here.

Since this thread is not related to c#, I will move it to Where is the Forum For…? forum to redirect it to the correct forum.

The Visual C# forum discusses and asks questions about the C# programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools.

    Best Regards,

    Jack
