Please advice which antivirus or securioty software should I install on WHS? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,
Recently I've just built my WHS and now I need to install an antivirus / security software on it, but I don't know which one I should buy & install. I did search a few software such as Symantec products, AVG, etc. but none of them worked. Please advice me.
    Thanks so much!

  • I use avast!; fSecure also has a product for Windows Home Server, and a couple of other vendors claim compatibility if you dig deep enough into their sites.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

  • I too use Avast. Their family pack with one WHS server license and 10 client PC licences is a bargain.

  • Thanks Pal, I've just ordered Avast WHS ver. for my WHS. The rest of my PCs & laps are running with NIS 2009.
