HELP: ERROR ON CRM 3.0 User Authentication RRS feed

    AUTHENTICATION ERROR.
    Microsoft CRM could not log you on to the system.
    Make sure that you have been assigned at least one
    security role or that your account is enabled.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    things i have done:

    1. created user on Active Directory
        - assigned proper groups
    2. created on CRM
        - assigned role for the user  
        - assigned team for the user

    i've tried...

    1. enable/disable user from CRM.
    2. reassign role of user from CRM.
    3. delete and created a new account on both AD and CRM.
    4. reset the IIS.
    5. checked persmission of user in CRM
    6. replaced old user with newly created user


    ( i know i did it right in creating a user in active directory,
    coz i can use REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION/PROTOCOL
    )

     

    i still receive the same error when i log on using the new account
    can someone help me out pls.

    Can other users logon to the CRM? (i.e. is the problem specific to your account)

     

    Could there be another CRM 3.0 installation on your network and you are unintentionally trying to log on to that one instead?

     

    Is the Business Unit that the user is assigned to enabled?
