What is the best self test software?

Question
-
I downloaded the Testking self test software and thought that I had purchased it but it turned out that the software was a lease, and when the support expired I was unable to use the software. Does anyone know what is the best self test exam software to purchase that does not expire?

Do not use Testking. They are braindumps and liable to get your certifications revoked because it is cheating.
A valid practice question sites are like Dame mentioned with TrainSignal. Transcender is also a good alternative and CBT Nuggets has training videos as well as practice tests.
Be kind and Mark as Answer if I helped.

I agree with Chris,
I do not suggest using TestKing.
The pages for the various exams on the Microsoft Learning web site list MeasureUp.com and SelftestSoftware as practice test vendors. I have used both vendor's products in the past. They create good products. Pay particular attention to the explanations that are provided with each question. They do a good job of explaining why the correct answer is correct, and why the incorrect answers are incorrect. They also provide links to information that will help you study.
I have used some of the TrainSignal products and found them to be helpful. I have not yet used any of their products that are geared directly towards specific exams.
Mike Corkery, MCT, MVP (Office Systems), MCSD (Windows Store Apps), MCITP, MCPD, MSF, etc. Please do not forget to click “Vote as Helpful” if any post helps you and "Mark as Answer”if it solves the issue.

Hi Cteam1,
The previous posters are right about TestKing being a provider of illegitimate braindumps, so please beware.
However, I just wanted to clarify the difference between video training products like TrainSignal and CBT Nuggets, and practice test products like MeasureUp and Kaplan SelfTest/Transcender.
TrainSignal and CBT Nuggets produce video training products, featuring a human instructor, to prepare students for Microsoft exams. MeasureUp and Kaplan SelfTest/Transcender produce practice test that closely resemble the format of Microsoft exams to allow you to test yourself in preparation for the real exams. That is the difference.
TrainSignal now provides access to Transcender practice tests when you purchase a TrainSignal training package, but they do not produce their own practice tests.
Microsoft only explicitly endorses two practice tests providers. These are MeasureUp and Kaplan SelfTest. However, since Transcender is now owned by Kaplan as well, they are now implicitly endorsed by Microsoft, so that makes three.
To answer your question, although all three are fine testing products, Transcender might be considered the best. Despite sharing a common question pool with SelfTest, Transcender offers a few extras that tend to elevate them even above SelfTest.
Regarding the expiration issue, all three of these testing products will expire after a maximum of three years. They all offer licenses ranging from 30 days to three years, but none extends past three years. However, since it should not take you three years to complete a certification, this three year limit should not be a problem.
I hope I have answered your questions. I wish you every success with your certifications.
James
